That mid-journey recording has quite a bit of hiss. I'd start looking at the Rover's preamp tubes.

Hopefully Perseverance's tubes are bit better...it apparently has HD everything. T-4 days to landing on Mars! Maybe all we get ia a bit of a muffled bang though - hope not 😔
