How would I go about to lower the strings on my guitar. It's a very "Machina" type classical and the strings are quite high towards the nearside of the fretboard. Should I have the bridge sanded down a bit or how is it done?

bridge or nut or both, depending on how low you want to go. Id be wary doing it myself though. ?

Whip the saddle out and file down the bottom by rubbing it on a piece of sandpaper which is on top of a piece of plate glass. The idea is to keep the bottom as flat as possible.
