Hi mates
Bought the ZOOM 9.2tt some time ago which came with Cubase LE.
The USB Audio codec from ZOOM (ASIOdriver_E) will not install on a PC running XP SP3. Also tried ASIO4ALL, no luck.
ASIOdriver_E is shown as installed in control panel programs, but does not appear as an option in CP "Sounds and Audio devices>Audio> recording/playback, just the Realtek HD Audio.
The PC is a 1,7 GHz with onboard sound card.
From what I've read on other forums it appears that there is nothing the I can do with the given hardware.
The only thing I have not tried is uninstalling SP3 to see if that will help.
Anyone seen the same problem?
TIA
Manfred-Klose
Have tried the latest drivers from the zoom website(if they have support)?
Dont unistall SP3, just keep fiddling around.

Hmm. If neither the Zoom driver or ASIO4ALL is working, I'd think it's hardware. ASIO4ALL is pretty good at playing nice usually. I'd start looking at the USB port as the possible problem - especially on an older machine.
Try the zoom plugged into a different USB port - especially if you are using the front USB port (which is often on a separate controller). If you can test on a different machine or a separate PCI USB card.
