It's not even December and we're voting on Xmas songs...saint's preserve us! ?
Four entries for this month's Xmas Mall Music Challenge - two covers and two originals. And there's a prize (2xR100 Raru vouchers - courtesy of Norio, Studmissile, Guido, Me, Warren, RodneyVikens)) for the winner. YES..your vote counts!
Well done to the entrants, I reckon that Xmas songs (that don't suck) are a labour of love!
Without further yak-yak, onto the entries!
Guidothepimmp (w/Domhatch) - Xmas Luncheon
Thanks to Domhatch for collaborating on this track. Not sure I could have scraped anything together otherwise.
Studmissile - Everyday is just like Christmas
Morph - Walking Through a South African Wonderland
I didn't expect to do this one and then at the last minute my work asked me to record a Xmas Carol with some of the Staff. While searching I came across this song done by Ronan Keating for NZ Airlines a few years ago
Faith Acoustic, strummed, simple bass line, Ukelele plucked on right and hand claps on left.
V8 - Jingle Hells
Naughty me, I'm entering something from a previous challenge (Dec 2015). Entering it in the cover category, I believe I was aiming at Megadeth flavoured Jingle Bell's, and there's me doing a vocal - your turn to chuckle at my attempt (aided by a tube screamer and many, many takes.)
