Gearhead
I bought one off of Graeme Parfett through this forum a couple of weeks ago. I've played it both plugged and unplugged and I must say that the latter is not what it's made for. Plugged it sounds cool and the 4-way tone control lets you get most sounds you might want. It has the playability of an electric and the warmth of an acoustic. You can even play it through an electric amp and mess with effects (chorus/reverb/delays are nice) and even distorted it works. With the band I'm in we play "The Cross" by Prince which starts off with very vulnerable acoustic and slowly builds up to solid distortion; this guitar does all of that with ease.
On the flip side, as said it's not for being played unplugged, sounds nasal, tinny and lacks body. It also does not have a whole lot of tuning stability but I guess that's because of the composite build.
All in all I will be hanging on to this baby for quite some time I reckon. ?
