Yep... Guido and I from Misty Mountain Band will be hosting a monthly open mic evening especially for Country musicians who seldom if ever get a chance to perform to an audience.
So, if you can sing or play an instrument, come and join us on stage at The Croc Pub and Restaurant in Kyalami, Gauteng.
The first open mic is on Thursday evening 1 August from 7.30 pm to 10.30 pm and then the first Thursday of every month thereafter.
This is the real, raw, Country deal... as it should be played... so no backtracks. If you're a singer, bring your song sheets for us to back you. This is not just for singers. If you play an instrument, be it a guitar, banjo, mandolin, violin, steel guitar or whatever, then you can join us when we play our numbers. Beginners are most welcome and will be supported all the way. Please message me if you would like to perform and the songs you would like to play so that we can make preparations.
If this gets off the ground in a big way, the full 6 piece Misty Mountain Band will be there to back you....and watch this space... we'll be inviting big-name local country artists to perform with us.
