Annnd the year is almost done, to cap it off three fine entries are vying for your vote!

Studmissile - Wrap up my baby

A belated Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year!

Yeti - Christmas time 2018

Got it together just in time. My initial attempt ended up a lot more serious than I had intended (might still finish it sometime... but not now) so I put together something fun to sing with my family - sons 4 & 6 plus (very patient) wife.
A couple of lessons...
1) Sleigh bells are hard
2) Working with children is harder ?

V8 - Two5ive1on

Not quite as last minute as usual,...about 3hrs on this one. Ableton was messing around and the melodic bassline disappeared - couldn't fix it in time - grrr. Two5ive1ne = Two Five One progression - 1xEm, 1xAMaj , 2xDm

Who Xmas'ed harder?

This poll has ended.

Well done gents! Unfortunately time caught up with me. Great entries all round.

Aaaaaannnnnd the player that Xmas'ed harder than all was...

@Yeti !!!

Most deserved win for the work that went into a rather Xmasy track, well done! And a highfive to @studmissile for his Xmas themed track, lyrics were solid as always!

So gents, would you like to think up another challenge? I'm thinking of running something concurrent with whatever you should choose. I'm keen for us to trawl through our past entries and share our favourites over the years?

Thank you V8, great track @Yeti & Family!
Nicely played gentlemen.

What do you mean @V8 like redo a past entry?

Thanks gents and thanks @V8 for organising.
Why don't we make this month slot revising old entries then?
Not 100% sure what I'd do as I've only entered two but I'm sure I'll think of something.

Or are you thinking more of nostalgic exploration of old recordings?

Yeti Why don't we make this month slot revising old entries then?

I was thinking rather lazily..trawling through previous entries, pick out a couple each and 'enter' them into a vote.
        AND
do something else (like revising a old entry, or whatever) @Yeti won, so he's got the heavy vote ?

          AND! Oooh ?

In that case why don't we try "three chords and the truth"? This opens up everything from country to blues to punk (and frankly a lot more) and the song structure is nice and simple so we can focus on licks, solos, song writing or whatever.

          Dude! Love it, it's on!
