Ronnie was one of my favourite guitar players. Little is known about him, but Ronnie Moipolai seems to come from a village in Botswana and made his living busking the streets of Gabarone. Some years ago, he has been discovered by a Dutch traveler who regularly published amateur videos of Ronnie - if he found him. One of these videos became viral and made Ronnie's face known to tens of millions of people all over the world. It didn't change much about his life though. He went on busking the streets of Gabarone not knowing what he would eat tomorrow.
Two months ago, Ronnie passed away. He leaves a heritage bigger than he might have been able to imagine. I hope this genius gets the place he deserves in the hall of fame of guitar players.
This tune I like more than all the others. I love the finesse of the two guys playing together. There is a lot of improvising in their play, but still they manage to be like one organism with four hands.
