After getting a phone call today regarding a theme song I wrote for a tv show (the editor needed a revised version seeing that the song has played everyday since 1 April 2008) I thought I'd get your guys input regarding my 'african' style guitar playing on the two tracks..

I used the stupid pre sampled stuff from reason.. floor tom if I remember correctly. Overcompressed the hell out of it, and then just layerd a couple of reverbs with almost no tops on it. Doing the re-mix, I might drop a bit of the reverb and push the little guitar up a bit..

Good compressor plugin to overcompress with... BF76, L3 or the LM2007!! The B76 in 'full-Canadian' does add a bit of caracter though.

Ok I tried again by downloading them first, the it played fine. Strange that the middle one sounds fine when playing straight from box.net, but the other two went all wobbly and had to be downloaded first. I like the sounds man ?

The Agri Today theme is a bit dense - I'd have probably tried to go for a thinner guitar sound.
