Gearhead Judging from your avatar you have a painful way of wondering about these things ? Why do you want to know what kind of guitar you have?
AlanRatcliffe Ryan are an "importer's brand", made specially in some factory somewhere in Asia for the local importers and with their choice of name on the headstock, so you won't find the same name elsewhere in the world (you might find the same guitar with a different name on the headstock though). IIRC, Ryan were the brand name used for musical instruments sold by the O.K. or one of the other big chains.
FenderBender My black strat copy has the name Harmony underneath the Ryan sticker. Either way its cheap n nasty ?
nick I think Ive seen Hifi Corp selling the Ryan branded stuff, usually in a set with amp and strat copy.
