The challenge was Sexy Please vote for your favorite in each class (2 votes 1 Beginner and 1 Advanced)
I figured it's about time I entered something for the weekly competition...so here's my version of "Sexy" - Beginner category: http://www.box.net/shared/zuj0439200

Here's my entry for the sexy challenge. Let me set the scene... You are 20 years old sitting in a coffee shop wondering about life and love. Suddenly this gorgeous girl walks in the door. You can't help but stare at her. While staring at her this song plays in your head. You lean over to your buddy and say: "I'm gonna marry that girl someday." :-* http://gfsa.s3.amazonaws.com/382/CDee%20-%20sexy.mp3 Class: Beginner Recording: 2 tracks total, 1 Acoustic (J-165), 1 Electric (Tele)

Ok here is my entry, beginners category please! 1 guitar track, duplicated and panned, and some random effects chucked in Then a very shitty drum track, I need to practice this more! http://www.box.net/shared/xstzd2jgin

I was told I need to send you this.... http://gfsa.s3.amazonaws.com/278/Dee%20-%20GuitarForum.co.za%20Challenge%2016_03_20.mp3 No need to mention anything else really. It's a simple little blues number. A few misplaced notes here and there, but it will have to do...

http://gfsa.s3.amazonaws.com/298/What%20melts%20your%20Cheese.mp3 Beginner class Peavey T-60 going through Pocket Pod into Zoom G2.1u Very rough but hopefully sexy

Here's my entry: Advanced http://www.box.net/shared/1uofiuh190 Tried a few new things. Tried doubling up on the lead guitar and panning. Couldn't figure out how to reverse the phasing so I shifted the timing a little for additional width. Wen't a lot cleaner here, still only on the Squier with two patches on the 505II - one lead one rhythm. Mixed on audacity with background effects from the 'net.

Well, I gave it my best shot. My boyfriend says it's old fashioned sexy. http://www.box.net/shared/55ld2t2jeb

the usual link www.myspace.com/andrewjbryson GFSA sexy! Well done Viccy, and Fritz yours was the better entry ?, The slide thing and Texas thing was good stuff.
Viccy - Let's have a good topic! ?

Rudolf

Congrats guys! You all did a great job no doubt. I told Fritz in chat there were particularly three entries that immediatly made me visualize a little scene (Don't ask for details please). As luck would have it those three entries are the ones that came out tops. You guys really rocked this one!
