One of the big issues with climate change is, well, it happened all the time in the past, and will in future. But this time, humans have an influence (we cannot fix). As for all the "fixes" (wind turbines, solar power), it will once again interfere with global effects ("ah, but c'mon, Earth is BEEEG and we only tap a small amount of solar and wind energy, on a global scale..." Sounds familiar??) and have other medium term nasties waiting for our kids' kids.
Hmm, once cyanobacteria produced too much oxygen, they were driven from the top of the chain to hide where oxygen cannot harm them. Take note. We are but a bump in this place's history.
