I found out what the controller is called. It's a Musicom EFX Audio Controller.

I've seen a few similar, but haven't taken any notice as I don't use pedals anymore. Lordy, how I would have killed for this ten years ago though.

I'm still investigating which option is gonna work best for me. The cheapest is a straight forward looper system. I'd still have to click multiple switches to do the pedal combinations I like to use. It does help having the switches on one control pad instead of hoping around stomping on the individual pedals.

Has anyone tried the POD XT PRO or the TC Electronic G-Force ?

I'm getting close to finalising my setup. I just need to order the 3PDT switches from the US (Probably do that next week). I've managed to put together a metal enclosure from 2 server rack blanking plates. They're powder coated and can handle the abuse.

I need to get some decent patch cables. At the moment It's a toss up between, in order of cost hi to low : George L's, Bill Lawrences solderless and the Planet Waves patches.

Cost is always an issue. Has anyone used the planet waves cables? I'd really like to buy the George L's but I'd go for the Planetwaves if they are reliable enough.

Any other cables I should or have forgotten to consider ?
