Generally, the same for me. Though the real funky stuff with 16th's mean I gotta see what's going on with the hands...at 0.25 speed usually!

Yes! This is the failing of 98% of amatuer tab - without the roadmap of chord shapes, you gotta work out where your hand is heading to next the hard(er) way? Though I'm finding the more I play, my hand tends to naturally fall where it needs to.
Them Satriani tabs require a good technical base, as I recall my lessons from (way) back in the day - it gets easier as the hands fall where you need them to.
Going through a handful of AC/DC riffs - once you've got the 4 chords shapes they use the most and can transition between them, you've got the tools to learn pretty much all their tracks! Though the control and timing is still something else, black belt rhythm guitaring from both of them!
