Ever wonder about the programming guys at E-TV?
Last night they had the movie "Grateful Dawg", a documentary showcasing Jerry Garcia and David Grisman.
They call it bluegrass but it stretched through Jazz, rock, folk and even some eastern influences.
I never realized what a good musician Jerry actually was. David Grisman is awesome mandolin player.
A reall good watch, I was picking way into the early hours. ?

E-TV programming is based purely on what they can get cheap. They often have surprising things on during the wee hours (and I ain't talkin' the "adult" movies which have all the eroticism of a wet kipper). Damn - I would have liked to see that. I hear so much about Garcia, but it seems his output was very erratic and I don't know where to start.

Great movie, watched it last night. Some amazing skills demonstrated by both players.
