Ooh, too many guitars here.... I did fit a lot of strings, not because I play a lot of sweaty, high-paying gigs, but because some of them has been on for 10 years or more. And it was time to oil the fingerboards, etc.
The Dreadnought received Black Diamond Phosphor Bronze wound 10 - 46 strings, in prep of servicing to sell. Sold to niece. Was a great guitar, but body slightly larger than comfortable. Went to a good home. At least they do music. She is into piano, violin, and now guitar I hope, her husband plays guitar.
The small, mahogany steel string received a set of Ernie Ball Acoustic Extra Light 10-50's, but still in need of bone nut and saddle. Must see to that soon.
The "new" nylon string received a set of D'Addario EJ27N classics, as part of my setting it up for my taste. It also received a bone nut and saddle. The "old" nylon still wears the same set of Thomastik-Infeld KR116 strings, now going for quite a few years. At the price, yes.... Well, they are "new", I replaced the set I bought the guitar with. After an extended internet crawl to try and find out what strings was fitted. Accidentally found the Thomastik site with all the "correct" specs. Immediately ordered a few sets.
The Pointy Guitar received a set of new Super Slinky's, 9-42. The old set was at least 9 years old... Still in need of a fret level, but will see to that as I go along. Working on it is, with the semi-floyd-rose thingy, not a pleasure.
The "new" Strat-alike received a set of D'Addario XL110 10-46 strings. And a bone nut. Still waiting to get caps and resistors for the electric parts re-build, and maybe, maybe look into another tremolo block, maybe, and in need of better tuners, which apparently will require new screw holes in the original head. Not my idea of how to do it. Drilling and plugging is not a problem, originality is.
So, not too bad, good to go for the next five or so years.
