Trem Bridge.. OLD
guitarboy2828
I'm looking for a bridge like this:
I have the bridge, I am missing the spring and whammy bar though. So mine looks like this (although not my guitar):
Any ideas?

Hi Paul,
I suppose it depends how "DIY" you want to go, and also your budget?
For a spring maybe you could look at repurposing one from a welding hammer (or elsewhere) like this:
https://www.makro.co.za/diy/tradeweld-/br-welding-chipping-hammer-247472EA?gclid=CjwKCAjwt8rMBRBOEiwA2F2biExHezqUAb5R49d7MZbvlg0wpoXAPRc48BQVZBaqFZhOV6HzyHKl7hoCffkQAvD_BwE
For the trem arm maybe play around with making a plywood template to get the shape you want and then have someone with some metal work experience fabricate one for you?
What guitar is this for? Always good to see guitar restorations going on!

Came across this which may be compatible

Thanks so much!
I found this:

I'm waiting for it to arrive, will post an update. NO idea if it'll work, but seems close enough and at R100 it's definitely worth the chance!

Looks good, glad you found a possible solution and hope it works out. Post some pics when it's done ?
