TurboVark
I have this epiphone les paul standard, fitted with lace alumitone griller humbuckers that I'm selling, as well as my marshall jcm 900 100watt, high gain, dual reverb combo amp
The epiphone is fitted with lace alumitone boutique griller humbuckers which I imported about two years ago for R7000 for the set.
They are wired split coil in the epiphone, with push pull switches on both tone knobs. They split 100% without any noise and hardly any volume drop (one of the big reasons why I send so much on these pickups). They are also current based, instead of voltage based, and have almost zero magnetic drag on your strings, which allow you to lower your action as low as possible without losing any sustain in the process.
Guitar is also fitted with a roller saddle bridge with brass rollers.
It is in perfect condition, only blemish is a very little bump (hardly noticeable) on the back of the neck. Besides that, the guitar is perfect in every possible way.
I wanted to assemble the perfect les paul, and...well....this is what I ended up with.
Marshall JCM900 high gain, dual reverb 100watt combo amp with footswitch
The amp has been re-tubed, recap, all new set of potentiometers, new handles, both sides as well as top, new corner peggs, foot pegs.
Also, new set of 4x 5881 power amp valves, 3x 12ax7wa pre-amp valves fitted with less than 20 hours play
Cabinet has also been refurbished with new leather-vinyl covering and the bias was done, at 70% (same as factory settings)
Both these have been a long time project which now have to go, cause I need to finance a new project.
