Update: Thought I had one but sadly the provider informed me no stock. So awaiting a refund. Once there I will be paying Thomann UK a visit. Packaging is quite expensive but I want.

Thomann is German. regardless if you're browsing the UK site. Rather update that you're in SA and it'll give you the SA price.

Hi Stoffel,
An interesting pedal, always wanted one as well and still do. Need to find a way to get it to play chords for me to fill or put an "organ" player into the band. Would be nice if it could be activated by e.g. foot pedals of an old Hammond or similar whilst playing bass. Will need to use my feet for this. In-expensive way to get a Hammond if I get it to work.

At Last! Got my B9 and I am suuuuper chuffed. 8) 5 week's wait but it is home on my board. It is everything EHX advertised and blended with other pedals like reverb it is delish.

After being frustrated by AudioMart and eventually getting refunded on some of my hard earned money I got the last demo B9 from a dealer in CT.

Will upload pic of the "Athlete's foot" board as soon as I have tidied the cables and power supplies.

I must say that I have had immense fun with both the Key9 and B9 trained with a TC Electronic delay and a Joyo Analogue delay.

Update. My pedal board has expanded with the addition of a EHX Mel nine tape machine. I am a happy analogue pedal user with a choice of 27 tweakable keyboard tones generated with a guitar.
The Key9, Mel9 and B9 was used during band practice. Our vocalist was surprised to hear strings in the mix as well as organ and a wurli for some of the songs. Note never use the EHX key pedals combined. Not a nice sound. So now off to find a 3 way channel switch selector for quick switching. Oh and a EHX reverb

The genre and song determines the keys sound required. Country and folky songs tend to favour strings while typical 60 to 80 rock tend to favour different organ sounds. The key 9 is used exclusively in Reggae and Reggae pop music with the mallets and steel drums.

Some examples where the B9 comes in its own is House of the rising sun, Walk of life and Road to hell to name a few.
