I've been bitten. A little more than a year ago I was an average hobbyist with a love of diving, fishing and shooting. Now I own four guitars, a ukulele, an orange amp, tens of picks, cables, headphones that's probably worth more than my car, software to teach me to play etc. etc.

I follow Facebook just to look at what people are selling.

Guitar playing should come with a bloody warning label. ?

I'm addicted to guitar/music stuff...And I recently started my track bike addiction...I'm stuffed. HAHAHAHA.

Know the feeling. I have often been blamed by my favourite other half that when I tackle something, it is with conviction from RC planes, hunting, precision shooting and many more but the one where she met me, on a stage to put on my stage makeup has been with us since we met. I started playing on a loaned guitar in 1981 and bought my first in 1982.
After my kids have spread their wings it has been a battle with GAS as I also want what the Jones's have.
That has been cured after a few dud impulsive purchases and my taste has swung to the more decadent of guitar and amps. So still collecting 25 years down the line with much more caution.

4 years ago I started my first band, dud, second band semi dud, third band success then some peeps got other ideas. On my fourth band now with wizened men and gently forging it back into shape again.

To entertain is part of my being and maybe somewhat narcissistic but oh the joy of performing.
