Nervous about weddings

I have been asked to play the wedding march (Here comes the Bride) at a wedding this weekend.
I worked out a pretty decent finger picking version of the march and was quited amused at the comments from the married couple to be.
"That's cute, but....."
The bride to be then piped up with "Have you got an electric guitar?" I dusted off the Peavey and plugged in and they both wanted the meolody to be played with a kind of dirty overdrive sound.
Tweaked the Zoom G2.1u and got a sound they liked.
Testing my equipment yesterday, I found that the freaking Zoom just wont power up (better than discovering this on Saturday!)
Rushed out to "Matt's Music", not much option for multi effects, but had to buy in rush. All they had in the Under R2000 category were a digitech RP50, Korg Pandora and a Line 6 pocket pod.
The Line 6 had a better electric sound so I had to buy it. ?

This will be my first live appearance with an Electric Guitar. I am kind of nervous and excited at the same time.
Wish me luck, and I hope the Line 6 Pocket Pod will hold up ?

The Line 6 pocket pod did it's job at the wedding. I didn't have too much time to create my own patch, so I used "the streets have no name" and just tweaked it a bit, adding more overdrive. I practiced the march about 28 times and only got it right once, but made no mistakes on the day! Phewww

One good thing after the wedding gig.

I really enjoyed the electric, a whole new world of tones and possibilities!
will concentrate on more electric playing form now on.

Another interesting thing is that I noticed is that that Line 6 Pocket pod, gadgety as it may seem, actually can get some realistic tones, I couldn't get these with the Zoom G2.1U or Digitech RP100.

Did you try the Korg pandora? I am interested in getting one, but the newer AD5 or whatever it is. The 5 not the 4...

THey only had the Pandora 4 in stock, looked and sounded good, but I think the line 6 had truer tones. ?
