Any value in a Yamaha Pacifica 012

I have been offered a Yamaha Pacifica -012 made in Taiwan 2003.
Haven't seen it yet, going on Friday.
Please can anyone tell if there will there be any there will appreciative value in this purchase as time goes on?
I have offered 1K and has been accepted.
If this wont appreciate in value, then, Id prefer to put the money into my Epiphone Studio - i just put DS SH-8b invader on the bridge
now i'm thinking of putting SH-4 on the neck.
Or save for a pre-owned Ovation round body acoustic?
Please advise opinions on Yamaha Pacifica 012.

It won't really appreciate much (if any), there's loads of them about & entry level guitars generally don't appreciate.

That said, it's a yamaha and at around 1k you won't lose much either (if it's in good condition) if/when you wanna sell. If you have a itch for a superstrat-y vibe it's a fun guitar.

I see a couple for sale in Aus, AUD starting at 250.00 to 300.00
in the States about USD 175.00 to 280.00
Although i love the strat-y feel, i think the neck i too narrow for me. I have Epiphone LP studio, which i think is a little wider on the neck,
although on brief research i cant find specific neck specs on either the Epi or the Yamaha

Those Pacificas are decent guitars. The 112 was great guitar. Never played an 012.
1k seems a decent price, though unless you're after something your Epi can't give you, perhaps it's best to just save the cash, and upgrade one day rather than buying another entry level electric.

If you want a strat vibe in addition to your Epi, then this is likely as cheap an option as you're likely to find, and also one of the better guitars at that level.
