Late night fun with Sonar

Riaan

I finally got fully functioning - and legally my own - copies of Sonar and Guitar Rig, and a couple of synth plugins. And finally got the whole lot to work. So here's my first recording with the new setup - drums and keyboards done on my Edirol keyboard, the guitars are my Godin Solidac (pickup only, not the piezo's) and Cort acoustic, all three tracks through Guitar Rig. It's a weird kind of tune with no intro, that just kind of evolved on it's own, but hopefully an idea to take further sometime. I've barely begun to scratch the surface of what Sonar can do, and at present I've no idea what I'm actually doing, so I fiddled with knobs and sliders until it sounded more or less right to me... ?...

So, comments, advice and rotten tomatoes all welcome!

Well done Riaan! The noodlings of one day often become part of the next day's song - I have a hard drive full of such things.

Yeah - that sounds like me too. ? I'm just at a more advanced state of not-knowing.

Well done Riaan, I like the tune. If this is your first attempt I'm interested to hear the rest!!

Nice classic vibe! Like the part where the second distorted guitar comes in.
Is it just me or is the delay off time in some places?

Note: I have never posted a recording, so take with pinch of salt! ?
