Well let's look at the last F. Firstly, you can see it is very similar to the first chord you posted, with only one additional note.
Now starting from the bass strings, you're playing a C (A string), an F (D string) and an A (G string).
The first chord in your image has these same notes, but with an additional C on the B string.
So these chords both contain F, A and C, but the first one contains an additional C an octave higher.
The F being the root note, the A being the 3rd of F and the C being the 5th.
Now if you were to use your index finger to barre the 1st fret, you'd add an F on both of the E strings, and so your chord would be more full, containing 3 different F notes, 2 different Cs and one A.
You could remove your finger from the C on the A string, playing an open A, and that'd give you another flavour or voicing of F major, because it still contains only F, A and C notes.
