VladSage
Hi All Guitar Heads,
Hope you are all doing well out there and shredding away. I am Vladimir Sage, please note that due to my professional line of work during the day this is not my real name. Unfortunately I have to split the entertainment world from my daily 8 - 5 job.
But I am working towards being in the entertainment & music industry full time in a few years.
Short summary about where I come from...I live in Pretoria, GP, and been playing guitar for around 8 years now. Previously played for Brothers Unborn. Had to leave the scene for a while during the years due to unforeseen personal circumstances.
As of end of 2016 I was ready to hit the scene again, during 2016 I searched far and wide for members to start a project but struggling to find serious and committed members seem to still be a constant struggle. Therefore, I decided to go solo until I find more members.
Figured this will be a good place to start networking with new contacts and also a place to share guitar rig profiles, and tips & advice.
My current gear:
Jackson Demmelition (Red & Black finish) & setup for Drop B tuning.
Focusrite Scarlett 2i2
Cubase, Guitar Rig, Positive Grid Bias, ToonTracks
*Will eventually save up for a stack amp again, as this point in time doing everything solo I can manage with the current hardware and software.
Hope to make some good new contacts. ?

Welcome Vlad,
Yeah, finding liked minded band members ain't easy - but it does happen!
Until then, the challenge section is a fine way to keep yourself occupied and perhaps find a collaborator or two - we just had a metal challenge, that might have suited you?
I don't use guitar rig much anymore - find the modelling of Ignite Amps & Lepou + cab impulses to be a bit more authentic for guitar tones. But GR does have all those modifiers that can make super distinctive sounds, so I dig it out every now and again.

Will eventually find the right people to join paths. Will go check the challenge out a bit.
Have possible collaborators when I have my first few tracks laid out and recorded. Very exciting times ahead. ?
I also recently started using Positive Grid BIAS, which is mind blowing amazing. Only on the demo version at the moment as the software doesn't come cheap.
I'll give Ignite Amps a try. Thanks ?
