So I finally pulled the trigger on a JP Le Roux amp. l'll use this thread to punt JP and his excellent amps..
This all started a few months ago when I traded my 30w valve laney for a forumites 18w Lite iiB. I enjoyed it so much that it reignited the lust for a single channeled rock machine..
I had dealt with JP before when he completely overhauled a 69 Elk amp I have, and at the time, i had spoken to him about building me an amp, but alas, never got one. I called JP up and spoketo him about the possibilities on a build, he gave me various options, and then also added in an option on on of his amps.. the JP Le Roux Supernova 20w. This is the option i went with, and im properly happy with it..
Love it! Basically it is 20w all valve single channel amp with a reverb. It is a 1x12 combo with a celestion vintage 30. Built like a tank and so good looking. Wiring is on a turret board and all pointto point. Very clean. Wont post any gut shots though..
