Hi everyone.

Been playing for about 14 years, but I barely touched a guitar for the last 8 or so years. I decided I missed it an started playing again a couple of days ago because I really need a more constructive hobby than playing Dark Souls and watching TV.

I was pretty fanatical about guitar during my teens and early 20's. I'm not entirely sure why I quit. Maybe I just became a bit burnt out and started losing interest.

A couple of years ago I sold all of my gear because I hadn't touched any of it in months. Now all I have left is the acoustic guitar my wife bought me for my birthday when we were still dating.

My fingers on my fretting hand got a bit soft so typing this hurts lol.

Sucks that you sold all your gear man! Now is the perfect time to spoil yourself for Xmas.

Make sure to provide plenty of ice cream to the locals, else they get edgy...

I know the feeling. I also took a break for a few years in my 20's - came to my senses soon enough - thankfully!

Guessing that be a steel string acoustic if you are suffering from sore fingers - try a little coating of superglue, temporary fix, works till they harden up again.
