Good preparation. Creativity to come up with two or three tiny DIY cotters of some sort to encourage the pieces to stay in position. Decent adhesive. And, most importantly, PRESSURE applied to it till full cure.
Then sort out cosmetics and Bob's your uncle.
Well that's awesome news. The pastor at the church my grandfather works at does woodwork as a hobby so maybe he can repair it for me.
Otherwise doing it myself with the cotters is easy enough. Thanks for the advice!
