Thanks Daveo. Much appreciated.
At first glance they all seem so great, but taking the plunge and investing in dollars and pounds is a bit daunting. I get these are businesses and that's fine, but I want 'real time' feedback about my playing and having someone analyze my playing and saying 'ah! I know where to start with you' . you know?

Just remember that these applications/video series/sites does not have someone looking at how you play - Finger positioning, playing with the tips, etc. Those little things that make a huge difference.
That's why yousician looks better because there seems to be a real 'measurement' to what the person is playing (albeit from a robot). I just downloaded the app and played the first 1 or 2 items and it looks good, but as with all things, how long before the ceiling is reached.
I am sick of watching video tutorials and am in no position to just jam with other people at present. Sadly, there aren't many 'teachers' around these parts that i would trust (i may be overly biased)
I have taught myself up to this point but am now in need to start understanding some real theory application. I don't yet speak the theory language and when video's start talking about diatonic scales and chromatic harmonica I get instantly lost.
Maybe I should go with first instincts and get Fretboard Theory by Desi Serna? I already have the sample on play books...maybe good place to start (again?) ?
confused.... ???
