hope everyone good, had a ok/good week just elapsed ?

i just seen this on Ultimate Guitar in the news: a Gibson Explorer for sale in London for 1 million something. thought i'd post it, hear everyone else's thoughts. i was thinking technically it can't be called world's most expensive guitar, because nobody has purchased it yet?

reading further down the 'article', the shop owner does say he's finalised the sale at $1.1m. so yup, world's most expensive guitar (thus far). there is the question of that fabergé-inspired strat - wonder what that will end up being sold for. currently 'valued' at $one bar...

You have to be insanely rich, or just insane to pay that kinda money for what is essentially a slab of wood with some metal and plastic on it, but, if you can afford it, I suppose - why not - ????? :?
