Boss RC-1 (looper) - R1799 @ takealot
Hmm, if I hadn;t just dropped money on new bass strings...
This is also the only of the compact loopers that has provision for an external controller- R200 in parts gets you two additional footswitches- dedicated stop and undo buttons

That's useful info - thanks!
I've been trying my hand at making simple footswitches for channel/reverb switching on amps - I'd think the theory is the same for the RC-1 (or get a FS-6?).
But I'm cheep - I re-purposed a hard drive case to channel switch on a valvestate - works 100%, cost = switch @ R55 and about 30mins for assembly. Add another switch and a stereo jack and voila?

Ja, it's an FS-6 or reasonable facsimile thereof. Here are instructions on making one.

Thanks & thanked Peter - you are a fountain of good stuff, keep it coming!
Make sure you use normally closed switches. I used momentary normally open, and the RC-3 I had refused to switch as needed.peterleroux wrote: Ja, it's an FS-6 or reasonable facsimile thereof. Here are instructions on making one.
