Werner232 Sorry guys! Seems that the technology is confounding me again. LOL! Wil try to add again and post. :-[
V8 Ohh, black and white - not at all what I expected - nice! Did you use the stock pickguard or make a alteration to it? What's your opinion (loose fret aside) of the kit and parts?
deebee Niiiiiiice, but you do realize that it is the worst guitar to try and play on your lap, close to impossible, strapped and standing up is the way to go - enjoy ? ?

I played a V for a long time and had no prob sitting down with it.
FlyingV Very Nice, BTW This is Michael Schenker's signature design first seen on his 1971 Gibson Medallion, there are only two other Medallions in existence with this scheme, one belongs to Rudy Schenker of the Scorpions, the third to Roland Grapow of Helloween (which now belongs to me). Schenker later converted his 75 Gibson V and Later his 78 Block Inlay V to the same black and white opposing theme.
Werner232 Thanks for the compliments guys! I appreciate it. ? Meron to answer your questions on the kit I'm overall impressed with the quality. All the parts fit. At least in my kit it did. I'm not terribly impressed with the stock tuning machines but I'll swop those out at a later stage. The body had fine tool marks from the machining process but that can be fixed with a auto body filler. ? The pickguard was the stock black three layer perspex one. I just took some sandpaper, sanded and primed it and then sprayed it, and then lacquered it. The pick ups is your standard Chinese humbuckers but I must say they are not bad when compared to my Ibanez S270's. The instruction manual is a PDF mailed to you by email and I wouldn't recommend trying to read the wiring diagram from it! LOL! It looks like a children's drawing ? Otherwise great fun to build! ?
