Hi All
I am new to the Forum, and might I say very awesome forum with helpful members.
I am looking for a Zebra style Neck humbucker. Preferably with the following specs:
1. Alnico II Magnet
2. Classic warm sounding humbucker preferred (but not exclusively looking for that)
2. Gibson 57 Classic zebra would be a winner!
3. I will consider other brands as well.
4. Please let me know how much you are wanting to sell at.
Anybody have anything they are willing to sell?
I would appreciate any help. Thank you.
Marco

If you'd asked a year ago, I had a stash of Zebra Tonerider Generators (neck, 8k). All gone now :'(
If you can find one, it's a great "budget" pup!
I do have a unused Dimarzio DP100 in black (13.6k) - intended more for bridge position than neck though.
Maybe one of those PAF Dimarzio's would work? I've played a few 70's ones, they really work for me in the neck position. Seen them in zebra too...

Hi Meron
Thanks for the offer, but I'm specifcally looking for a zebra config, as I am building the Slash AFD replica. I have a Gibson 57 classic plus for the bridge, but you cannot believe how hard t is to get a 57 for the neck in Zebra. Nobody stocks, and with the current exchange rate... They can get pricey - never mind a set of Seymour duncan slash signatures. Those would be top draw, unfortunately a bit pricey for my justification in buying them.
I actually found a good sound comparison vid between the SD's and the Gibson 57's, with very little difference in tone between the two. Oddly, the Gibson's are more affordable! lol.
If you know of anyone selling a nice classic sounding zebra pup (regardless of brand), please let me know.
Thanks again.

I've played a set of the SD Slash signatures...I didn't expect much, but they were damn good.
I did see one posted on Revolution Music Gear (FB group) last week - black, neck for R700. Just checked...it was sold. I was tempted to add it to the stash, but I got enough bits (too many actually - time for another spring sale).
Maybe try a shout-out on "SA Music Store" and "Revolution - Music Gear" facebook groups, there are plenty junkies out there that should be able to help.

Thanks guys. Norman, Thanks for the tip, I had checked out GF before, and may seriously consider that as an option.
Thanks again.
