How much do these go for, I have a tweed one that might be going up for sale and I need an idea of what I can ask.
Thanks

O nice. I really want one of those one day...
Last time I saw one in a shop it had a price tag of about R11000....and online they go for about R10000.
Although their U.S. list prices are about R8000.
I should mention this is for a new Classic 30/112's. I'm not sure how much an older one is worth.
themanthatwalks
where are the days when they went for R4k new
Manfred-Klose
Last time i checked it was about R6000- R7000 new(Depending on the guitar shop)
I've seen some go for R9000, which is crazy ?

Maybe a bit off toppic, but:
Keep your eyes open for the Peavey Vypyr comming to SA this April.
All tube amp, with great reviews! I think (via some little birdie) they will go between R10k - R12k.
If this amp match the reviews when I try it, I will get myself one!

Hi
I used to own one, i paid 10k after lots of discount. Currently all prices went up allot because of the Rand/Dollar ratio and global credit crunch, expect to pay round 14k for one ... Their nice amps, but in my opinion not really worth the price

yeh I'm gonna go with Francis on this one ?
The Classic range was one of the first valve amps I played on so I thought they were brilliant til you actually hear what amps are out there.
If the store has old stock, they normally go for around R5000-R6000, new stock is in the range of R12000+
Second hand, guys are selling it for R4000+, not really worth it in my opinion cause they probably bought the amp for less than that years ago
I use a rule of thumb for second hand equipment, take the price you paid for the item less 40%; thats the price I would normally sell items for, depending on rarity/condition obviously
