My first solo album
jrs
Having written more music than my band can work with, I decided to release some of it as an instrumental album. It's pretty much thrash metal with a melodic side to it. Available for free download here:

I'm gonna be honest... I couldn't enjoy it.
You know how when you were 5 and had trouble staying within the lines in a colouring book?
Adult musicians sometimes have the same issue... except your colour-in pencils is your melodic instrument and the lines are the drums, and you're out of sync.
I'm sorry if I offend, but it has to be said.

First I thought @RickyWicky was being harsh but then I had a listen and, yeah, you're so far off the beat that it's distracting.
I've had similar criticism from others before and I know it can be hard to hear the problem but you have to work at it or folks simply won't listen.
One trick that may help is turning your guitar down (when you're recording) so you can hear the beat more easily.
Regular practise with a metronome will also eventually help you develop an "internal metronome".
All that said, I'm sure I'm still guilty of this. It's a common problem that a lot of "bedroom warriors" like us have.
