Hmm, been quiet on the G.A.S front round these-a-parts...

Or have all the itches been thoroughly scratched?

I've got my eyes peeled for a few bass pedals (a MXR envelope filter & a Zoom B2) and some fresh bass strings. There is a tiny chance of a regular pub gig, so in hope, I'm starting to get my gear together.

As feature rich as the Boss GT-6B is, it be far more pedal than I can use :-[ (and more than I want to carry around!) - so that's probably going to find a new home soon.

I do have a bunch of stalled projects to work through - a Hofner 189 bass that needs a load of tlc, a bunch of pedals from PaulE that I've barely gotten started on and the poor old pimpocaster has been rather neglected...tsk-tsk.

Whats your GAS situation looking like?

Just pulled the trigger on a Fishman piezo and preamp for my Guitalele, and will be putting a 'test mule' bass together over the weekend, so I'm feeding the habit to keep it at bay.

None of my long lost Nigerian relatives who keep emailing have deposited any money, so the Rickenbacker 360/12 will have to wait.

Oooo, that's interesting - The yamaha guitalele? If so, I also have one (great travel companion). So much fun, I seriously considered making it my go-to acoustic, so very keen to hear how this experiment comes along!

The set is absolutely stunning, with awesome figure.

I had been in contact with the supplier over many months, hunting for the perfect set. I'm very excited.

The very same. It's a great guitar, and I _think_ this Fishman isys+ will fit without too much chopping. Will post pics when I install it.

Yep, for a decent acoustic to replace the one I sold a long time ago as well as a particular Strat in my LGS that's a honey - and overlooked for years because of the colour. But mostly just need to finish off my pedalboard build, and instead of GAS it's more pedal acquisition syndrome temptation - particularly the Strymon El Capistan.

Ive just got into J Rockett audio's stuff - man, oh, man - never heard such quality. The Tim Pierce Signature Overdrive is a front end drive & boost - emulating a Naylor preamp. The Dude Overdrive is their dumble type offering, and its so freaking articulate, punchy. In 20 years of playing Ive never heard stuff like this. The 2 drives gained stacked into each other - oh my! Ive also added the Line6 M5 which is great for those 1 off sounds (Trem, Vibe, Swells, Deley/Verb), as well as the TC Flashback x4, the Ditto x2 and the new Digitech Trio.
