Its funny cause steve just doesn't fit. Even his solo.. I like the more eccentric, what the hell is he doing, Steve though. But the song is amazingly funny

It is an odd one - I think it was the only song that Vai was allowed to improvise over. Even the studio version (on the excellent Them or Us album), his solo is kind of odd and disjointed - Dweezel (the other soloist on the track and in the middle of his EVH/Michael Angelo phase) shits all over him IMO. I love the ending cadence though - very Ravel.
BTW. Dig the overalls Frank. ? Good version of the band though (one of the strongest vocal ensembles Zappa ever worked with) Chad Whackerman, Bobby Martin and Ike Willis.
