Maybe I'm crazy...just thinking I need to do two things this year:
1. Build my own amp cab (112 or 212)
2. Go on a valve amp building course/workshop
For now num 1 intrigues me. I tried places like Mak-Rak to get birch plywood. No luck. Tolex? No flippin clue ?
Please point me to some old threads maybe or has anyone been crazy enough to do it? Or maybe I'm NOT crazy? Anyway maybe others may find value with this topic :-[

You can get birch ply here. Just phone around. There's a place in Somerset West that sells it. Not expensive either I think.
Tolex and grill cloth is easy to get but shipping is expensive. It is otherwise simple, just order it online. I'd ask around, Karel Mars, Lapdawg and a few others may sell you some.
I'm going to try the same this year. I've built the amps, now I want to try a cabinet.
