Thought I’d jot down some ideas I had. Try and do the same so we get this year covered!
1. BE MY VALENTINE: No flowers and chocolates this year sweetheart, I’m writing you a song! (Unfortunately valentines passed!)
2. (APRIL FOOLS) FUN AND FOOLISH: Give us all a giggle!
3. NOW THAT’S A CATCHY RIFF: You got to make members say “That’s so cool, how you play that?”
4. ACOUSTIC ROCK, Yeah you heard me, it’s got to be acoustic and it’s got to rock
5. FUZZILLA: Beg, borrow or steal a fuzz pedal and show us what you can do with it!
6. PUNK’d: It’s a garage band do whatever the hell you want! Just try and keep it in tune!
7. ALTERNATIVE TUNNING: Sorry Drop D isn’t going to cut it! Now that’s scary!
8. ETHEREAL AMBIANCE: Create a chilled atmosphere in any genre
9. NASHVILLE GUITAR RASH! Sorry can’t help myself ?
10. A GUITAR AND ONE OTHER INSTRUMENT (DRUMS AND VOCALS ALLOWED ONLY FOR THE DESPERATE BUT DON’T EXPECT BONUS POINTS!) Not too sure about this, but It’s an interesting thought?
11. THE BLUES BABY, THE BLUES: Have we done this before? Be surprised if we haven't?
Stud, you are a stud! Great work on the list, I'm seeing a few mini challenges (2,7,10 & 5...Fuzzilla, hell yeah!) and some main challenges in this list.
Though I'll pass on 1 and I'll ponder 9...(we all have our kryptonite - mine's working with samples - I just can't help myself ?)
I think it's a annual thing to do something with a blues flavour - at least I try and sneak something in...surprisingly enough the blues ones don't get as many entries as one would hope. Though we'd still want to have a few genre specific challenges - always a good idea to tackle something unfamiliar.

All great ideas, but please try and keep in mind the beginners?
Or then in the spirit of Deadpool and Street Fighter 5 we have something like a
Fight Music theme for this month.
Hmm, I have been watching a fair amount of UFC again, I suppose "Fight Music" doesn't have to be loud and fast - Conor McGregor walked out to a title fight to a Sinead O'Conner acapella performance.
Let's continue the debate over the weekend and I'll post up something early next week? And for format, anyone have a preference? I'm think a 2+min full song vibe, with a collaboration twist...I'll offer myself up as producer &/or session bassist.
