Thanks Gman. Will give it a go today.
Hasie, I find working with a drum pattern first is much easier. Trying to 'put' drums into an already established melody can be tricky, making timing fit etc.
As stoffeltoo said, personal preference really.

Hi All,

For some reason I wasn't getting the entries that wern & stoffel sent. Google - in their glorious wisdom...*ahem*..decided gfsacomps violated terms of service by receiving mp3s and deactivated the account...and I cannot re-activate the account (I tried). I guess they get a lot of smappy/piracy and a new account w/o any history is marked suspect. And they won't accept my cell number as a auth.

V8 is not impressed.... >☹

Anyways, please use my v8v8v8@gmail.com address instead. I have amended the comp details in this thread and Wern & Stoffel I have sent you a PM asking to resend me the entries, sorry guys - it's beyond my control!

I have the VST drums set up on Cubase AI LE 6. What a mission to load the drum map if you do not know how. Noob problens...

This is going to be challenging.

Hasie i had same challenges with reaper. But google is your friend.... unless you want to receive mp3's....

EDIT: V8, let if the volume on it is too low. It might just be my laptop's speakers but I can barely hear it.

Tokyo, I heard yours on sound cloud. The volume is just fine.
And its quite an interesting back track you got going there...
