Mighty Mite Strat neck
Toast
I'm thinking about starting my first Strat build and the first item on my list is a decent neck.
How are the Mighty Mite necks (licensed by Fender)?
And what is a good price for a used (but in good shape) one?
Thanks!
Wizard
I used one of those necks on my violincaster. I paid 1,000 on Gumtree.
Necks don't become available very often.
Maybe see if Brian Fanner will make you one. He certainly knows what he's doing.
Used a neck he made on a Tele I assembled.
I bought a cheap neck once before.
After discovering it was irreparably twisted I literally dropped it in the bin.
So. Goedkoop kan duurkoop wees.
IMHO the neck is the key part of the guitar. Not the place for shortcuts

Get Wayne aka Neon Gekko to manufacture one to YOUR Specs...
Nothing worse than ordering something from far away and finding out it not quite what you wanted .... and shipping is the killer here
