Well, I have been absent for a year. Even though I said before I had all I would ever need, I really should have said I didn't have everything I wanted. A few years ago my SG Standard was stolen about a week after I bought it. Loaned it to my son and it disappeared during the unloading of gear.

I found a used 2016 model with Throback pickuos for a good price and jumped on it. Nice chunky neck, clean frets, superb fit and finish, it just sings. With the addition of a ZenDrive, I can get smoke and sparks to fly out of my amps.

I added a Red SG Standard with Throbak PAFs,PRS McCarty Gold Top Double Cut with Seymour Duncan Soap Bar P90s I am replacing with Harmonic Design VP 90s, MIM Butterscotch Tele with Fender Noiseless pups, Kenny Hill New World Classical, and a Northwood LOO of Mahogany and Torrefied Adirondack.

I had a serious Bike crash five years ago, and it too 3 years to get a settlement from the state regarding road conditions that contributed to my injuries.

That’s why I bought a mix of used and new items.
