Hi guys,

A friend gave me this unwanted, barely used Cort bass guitar and I was wondering what I should ask for if I sell it.

What do you think I can sell it for if i were to sell it?

From what I've seen while trawling the instrument sales groups/olx/gumtree is that Cort guitars seen to deteriorate in value faster than sport cars. For instance, my Cort Action bass was 3 grand new. I've seen them go for between R1400 and R2000.

So I'd rate you should get away with between 50-75% of the model's retail price.

I think that if you R1400 for it you should grab the money. There are better bargains for R2000
