i popped in this morning to specifically buy a pedal or 2. Got there and they have a policy of only letting a few ppl in at time. The queue outside I gauged to be about 30 minutes long and about 30 ppl in the q so I thought to hell with that. I ain't waiting 30 minutes to give someone my money and ducked.
Might go later as I have to go past it anyway but queues bring back memories of army holding a varkpan so I tend to avoid em
Don't know why shops have sales like this. Seems to be the fashion. They should get with the times e.g. like shops in the US and have a decent website with either brand name or specific items specials on a weekly/monthly interval. It will allow for sales throughout the year instead of have a hockey-stick turnover with less profit and it will ensure that people buy when they have money rather than saving it for a once a year sale.
Its called looking after and providing a service for your customers all shops in the EU and US are doing this why not here ?
I hope they provided coffee, tea and biscuits for the waiting people outside in this heat.
