kayDUB I seemed to have managed to break the switch on my crybaby... it just doesn't "click" anymore. its a Carling 0716R. Its got three poles, which would make it a SPDT? any one have one for me?
kayDUB I checked their site, couldn't find any footswitches... but I have to go there anyway to get some other stuff soon anyway, so I'll ask them. thanks. But now i'm thinking maybe I should use one of the 3PDT switches I just got and wire it with an status LED and true bypass... hmmm sounds like an interesting little project. :yup:

kayDUB Stumbled on this again and realised I never updated it. So thanks to the link and reccomendations I replaced the stock switch in the crybaby with a 3PDT, removed the input buffer and added an LED. I also adjusted the position of the pot to remove some of the harshness, but still think I must move it another notch or two. My first mod, so the scariest parts were removing the components from the pc board and drilling the enclosure. but it all worked out well and wasn't really that hard at all. ? I'll try get some pics up.

toastyrat I just did the mod and i only have 1 question: WHAT THE FREAK HAVE I BEEN SMOKING FOR THE LAST 9 MONTHS!!? I can't believe how much better everything sounds. Sometimes you change something in your effects chain and it makes a slight difference, this mod sounds like i got a new guitar and amp. Stuff! Actually makes me a bit bummed that i've been so badly tone robbed for so long. I also never tried my custom shop pickups without that wah and now know how kiff they are. Thanks kaydub, u saved my tonelife.
