The new gal. Tokai LS115F.

Absolutely loving this guitar. Flawless in every respect. Can't believe how affordable these guitars are. Easily much better quality than many guitars 4 times it's price.

Plus the service I got from Lance was first class. The high quality of Tokai craftsmanship is only rivalled by his excellent customer service. Will definitely be adding a few more to the collection in the future.

I must admit that the Tokai looks good but that Gibson.....

So how does it compare to your Gibson? They're of similar spec afterall.

I must say, at the risk of being flamed by all Gibson fans, the Tokai is far superior in terms of build quality. I love my Gibson but this thing just feels and plays better. When strummed acoustically the notes seem to ring forever.

Although my Gibson has a 50's neck the Tokai feels slighlty more chunky which I like. In terms of sound, the Tokai sounds amazing but I have the Seymour Duncan Hot Rodded set in the Gibson which to my ears sound better. Can't really say how the pickups would compare to the stock Burstbucker Pros the Gibson came with as I did'nt have them that long in the guitar before changing them.

Rowen, that LP premium plus must be a very tasty beast if it's anything like my SG premium plus? I found those burstbucker pros to be extremely versatile! What are they like in the LP?

Thanks guys. @psyx The Burstbucker Pros sounded great in the guitar but I now have the Seymour Duncan Jazz and JB pups in there which sound amazing.
