I wonder if this will actually work practically. It looks like they've raised more than enough funding. And it weighs less than your usual Lead Plank guitar.

What are your thoughts?

That's pretty amazing. It's ugly as f#ck but I could see myself using it as a practise guitar and for recording ideas, and screwing around in general.

A bit bulky for my taste - Almost the size of an acoustic, but weighing more - and I'm far from an iFan, but the concept is awesome.

I should be digging it, I really should - It's headless (ala steinberger), looks like the the speakers will output in stereo, should be able to use any RAS plugin's on the iOS DAW. All things I like!

but I'm not feeling this at all. Perhaps it's the awkward dock/speaker arrangement on the upper side of the guitar. Or maybe I smell vapourware, dunno :-[

Why? What's the difference between this and a real guitar with an iRig or one of the other thingies? I agree with V8. Vapourware.
