Two simple mixing/eq hacks

In general I don't like hacks - but I like the idea of these - especially number one (eq in mono). That makes a lots of sense, especially if (like me) your best monitors happen to be headphones.

+1 Love the take the guy has on mixing ? unfortunately I dont own studio monitors (mix stuff on a 2.1 logitech ) def gonna save some time.

And the mono EQ-ing actually so simple but genius at the same time ?

i haven't laid down anything worth mixing in a looooooooong time. but i've gone through most of what's on this guy's website, and there's a whole bunch of it i'll be putting into practice as soon as i get something down. it's all pretty practical, and that's what i like about his advice.
