So I got a Stagg 12 String for a song. Had good sound considering the conditions of the strings. When I inspected the guitar at home I noticed a wood splinter sticking out inside the guitar. I immediately feared a brace....but when I got the strings off had mixed emotions about what I found...
As you can see the bridge is quite chewed up. I think it could be remedied / protected from further damage by a small aluminium (for weight) plate. Should one attach it with epoxy? Is there a filler one can use to build it up before using the plate?
I know it isn't ideal, but it obviously isn't worth spending serious money on this guitar...
