I like 'em.

Mmm Nice. My next guitar will be one of these. What "work" does it need?

I absolutely love Ibby semi-hollows, I have two of them (a "335" and a "white falcon", and they are both great guitars, I love them. Big fan. For me (and for many people on the interwebs) they are some of the best guitars for the money - punching WELL above their weight class and competing with counterparts costing way more than they do.
I tend to go for the more rock/bluesey-oriented ones, instead of the jazz boxes, but for me I think you got a great guitar and will thoroughly enjoy it. If I'm not wrong yours is a full hollow?
What work are you thinking of doing?
